Four Vehicle Collision in Liverpool City Centre

Merseyside Fire & Rescue Service was called out to a collision involving four vehicles.

The incident happened at the junction of Clarence Street and Pleasant Street in Liverpool city centre just before 3pm.

Firefighters removed the roof of one of the vehicles to free a 49-year-old woman. She suffered suspected neck and back injuries and was transported to the Royal Hospital.

A 42-year-old man is believed to have suffered neck pain and was taken to the Royal Hospital by ambulance.

Paramedics also examined a 50-year-old man at the scene.

A fire appliance from City Centre Community Fire Station attended. Firefighters were at the scene until just after 4.30pm.
