Bathroom fire in Litherland

Firefighters were called to a fire involving a towel and a spotlight fitting in a bathroom at a property on Daley Road, Moss Lane in Litherland on Monday, 23 October.

Merseyside Fire & Rescue Service was called at 7.08pm and crews were alerted a minute later and on the scene at 7.14pm.

Two fire engines attended the incident and crews ventilated the property before carrying out a home fire safety check.

No-one was injured.

The towel was destroyed by the fire and the first floor bathroom was damaged by smoke.

Firefighters remained at the scene for around 25 minutes.
