Two-vehicle road traffic collision in St Helens

Firefighters were called to a two-vehicle road traffic collision on Marshalls Cross Road in St Helens at 12.24pm on Monday, December 11.

Merseyside Fire & Rescue Service was called at 12.19pm and crews were alerted at 12.20pm. They were on scene at 12.24pm.

Two fire engines and the Search and Rescue Team attended the incident.

Firefighters assisted paramedics in walking two people from one of the vehicles.

A further person has made their own way out of their vehicle prior to the arrival of firefighters.

All three people were taken to hospital by ambulance for further checks.

Firefighters made the scene safe and remained at the incident for around 50 minutes.
