Fire involving electrical intaje equipment in Walton, Liverpool

Firefighters were called to a fire involving electrical intake equipment at premises on Walton Vale in Walton, Liverpool at 12.40pm on Tuesday, December 19.

Merseyside Fire & Rescue Service was called at 12.35pm and crews were alerted at 12.37pm. They were on scene at 12.40pm.

Two fire engines attended the incident and crews wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel jet and a CO2 extinguisher to put the fire out.

Firefighters then ventilated the area. No-one was injured.

A quantity of electrical intake equipment was damaged by fire. A storeroom sustained smoke damage.

Fire crews remained at the incident for around 90 minutes.
