House fire in Kirkdale, Liverpool

Fire crews attended a fire at a property in Great Heath Road, Kirkdale this afternoon.

Merseyside Fire & Rescue Service was called at 4.15pm and crews were alerted at 4.16pm They were on the scene at 4.20pm.

Two fire engines attended the fire, which is thought to have started in the kitchen of the property

Firefighters wore breathing apparatus and used a main hose reel jet to put out the fire.

Ventilation was used to remove any remaining smoke.

Four people were out of the property when crews arrived and all were unharmed.

MFRS was at the scene for approximately 20 minutes.
