Pub fire in King's Moss, St Helens

Firefighters were called to a fire at a pub on Pimbo Road, King's Moss, St Helens, on Monday 29th April.

Crews were alerted at around 6.30pm. Four fire engines - two from Merseyside and two from Lancashire - attended the fire, as well as one of Merseyside's combined platform ladders.

The fire involved the first floor and the roof of the property.

Four firefighters wearing breathing apparatus entered the property and used two hose reel jets to extinguish the fire.

Crews inspected the roof space for hotspots, with a team of firefighters from Lancashire damping down.

No one was injured in the incident.

It is believed the fire started accidentally.

Crews left the scene at 8.10pm.
