Heat stress conference in Merseyside

Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service is organising a one-day conference on the effects of heat stress on firefighters on the 9th February 2010.

The conference is based on research funded by the Fire Service Research and Training Trust, commissioned by MF &RS and carried out by Liverpool John Moores University.

The symposium will bring together leading experts from academic institutions, fire and rescue services and the private sector.
