There has been a high level of interest in the fire that occurred in the multi-storey car park at Kings Dock, Liverpool on 31st December 2017 and a number of reports about the incident have now been published.

Please note the following: 

- Any requests for information about the current status of the car park, the vehicles in it (or their contents), or CCTV footage of the car park should direct their requests to Liverpool City Council.

- MFRS is not able to provide a list of vehicles damaged as a result of the incident

- MFRS is not able to provide information regarding third party details in relation to the vehicle in which the fire started

- The standard charge for the incident report and incident investigation report has been waived in this instance due to the unique nature of the incident; payments already received will be returned.

- MFRS staff are not available for interview, however, please contact if you have any questions you would like us to consider
