Call received on 4th February 2009 at 16:45. This call was made by a female from a Telephone Kiosk on Grove Street, City Centre. The female reports that she has set her house on fire and her two young children are inside. Three fire appliances were sent to this incident to find the address that the caller gave did not exist.
Call received on 27th November 2008 at 16:37. Males in a telephone kiosk on Walton Breck Road reporting a car on fire.
Call received on 27th November 2008 at 17:49. Female on a mobile telephone reporting smoke issuing from under the smoke alarm in her house. No attendance made by Merseyside Fire & Rescue Service.
Call received on 30th November 2008 at 13:38. This was a very young child on a mobile telephone reporting a house on fire. The call was challenged and no attendance was made by Merseyside Fire & Rescue Service.
Call received on 30th November 2008 at 20:18. This was a young person calling from a mobile telephone reporting smoke coming from the chimney of a house. The control operator challenged the call but the caller insisted they were telling the truth.
Call received on 8th November 2008 at 23:32. This was a male on a mobile telephone reporting a house or a flat on fire. Due to the inconsistent details the caller gave, no attendance was made initially. The police then contacted the fire service as they had received an emergency text saying the house was on fire. The call ended up being a hoax.
Call received on 9th November 2008 at 17:44. This was a male on a mobile telephone stating that there was a chip pan on fire that had got out of control. He said he was outside the property with his children.
Call received on 18th November 2008 at 05:05. This was an adult male on a mobile telephone reporting the back kitchen on fire. He cleared the call before it was completed. Two fire appliances were sent to investigate.
Call received on 27th November 2008 at 23:59. This was a young person on a mobile telephone reporting a kitchen on fire. Both of Croxteth's fire appliances were mobilised to this incident.
Call received on 3rd November 2008 at 13:49 from a telephone kiosk on Netherfield Road North. It is an adult female reporting a flat on fire with her friend trapped inside. Three fire appliances and a senior officer were sent to this incident.
Call received on 24th April 2008 at 23:15. Adult male calling from a telephone kiosk on Long Lane. This is believed to be the same male who made a hoax call on 19th May. Male again reporting a car on fire.
