From Liverpool

From Liverpool city centre travel north on the A59 (initially named Scotland Road). Keep to the A59 until you reach a roundabout with a flyover (Walton). Turn right on to the A5058 (Queens Drive) and at the next major junction turn left onto A580 (Walton Hall Avenue) Follow the A580 until you reach a set of traffic lights before a cemetary on the right. Turn right at the lights onto Lower House Lane. Follow this road until you reach the junction with Storrington Avenue and turn left. The Fire Safety Training Centre is on the left on this road.

From the North

From the end of the M58 at the roundabout (Switch Island) join the M57. Turn off at junction 4 and follow the roundabout round to the A580 (heading to Liverpool). Continue on the A580 until you pass a cemetary on the left. Turn left at the lights onto Lower House Lane. Follow this road until you reach the junction with Storrington Avenue and turn left. The Fire Safety Training Centre is on the left on this road.

From the South

Join the A580 (west-bound, to Liverpool) at junction 23 of the M6 or junction 4 of the M57. Continue on the A580 until you pass a cemetary on the left. Turn left at the lights onto Lower House Lane. Follow this road until you reach the junction with Storrington Avenue and turn left. The Fire Safety Training Centre is on the left on this road.

From the East

Join the A580 (west-bound, to Liverpool) at junction 4 of the M57. Continue on the A580 until you pass a cemetary on the left. Turn left at the lights onto Lower House Lane. Follow this road until you reach the junction with Storrington Avenue and turn left. The Fire Safety Training Centre is on the left on this road.

From the West

From the Liverpool end of the Wallasey tunnel take the first turn off to join north-bound traffic on the A59 (initially named Scotland Road). Keep to the A59 until you reach a roundabout with a flyover (Walton). Turn right on to the A5058 (Queens Drive) and at the next major junction turn left onto A580 (Walton Hall Avenue) Follow the A580 until you reach a set of traffic lights before a cemetary on the right. Turn right at the lights onto Lower House Lane. Follow this road until you reach the junction with Storrington Avenue and turn left. The Fire Safety Training Centre is on the left on this road.

Public Transport

A number of buses stop on Storrington Avenue. Bus numbers 14, 14A, 14B, 14X, and 114 go from Liverpool city centre. The 102 goes from Aintree to Broadgreen hospital via Storrignton Avenue.
