Merseyside Fire & Rescue Service Prince�s Trust Program

Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service is a Delivery Partner for the Prince�s Trust twelve week 'Team' personal development programme for 16 - 25 year olds. Teams operate from fire stations and are each run by a Team Leader and an Assistant Team Leader. Teams currently operate from Bootle & Netherton, Huyton, Toxteth Community Fire Stations and the Fire Academy

. If you're unemployed, de-motivated and uncertain of your future, then Prince�s Trust Team Programme could be for you. The Team Programme is for UK residents aged 16-25 who are unemployed and officially left school. It is free and will not affect your Jobseeker's Allowance. It is ideal for those who lack confidence, direction or just want the opportunity to try something new.

 You will, among other things:

• Be part of a team of up to 12 people for 12 weeks
• Take on community projects of your choosing
• Have an action-packed residential week
• Gain a placement for work experience
• Gain First Aid awareness
• Spread values about citizenship

By working with other organisations such as Prince's Trust, we can unlock young peoples' potential and improve their confidence, motivation, skills and job prospects. Over 80% of unemployed participants find work or go on to further education or training after completing the programme.

We want to help young people to get their lives working by giving them the opportunity to gain the skills and confidence they need to move on, and have fun in the process!
