FOREWORD
This edition of Hot News has a lot of stories on our Service’s work in the community as well as recent operational incidents.
It has been a busy time for our Service with staff involved in planning and preparing for the large JESIP exercise. More on that can be found on Pages 10 and 11.
We are also highlighting Bipolar Awareness Day and World Mental Health Day, on Pages 16 and 17, as well as Stoptober 2014 in this edition.
At the time of going to print our Service’s work for the UK Older People’s Day and the CFOA Ageing Safely Week was taking place. But don’t worry - we will have more on that in the November edition.
Thank you to all of those who have sent stories in for Hot News. Thank you.
