Santa? But it’s March! We couldn’t let the first issue of 2016 pass by without thanking Santa who is by now putting his feet up until next Christmas. He came to entertain and bring gifts to some good little children (and possibly some naughty ones) at a Breakfast with Santa event on 21 December in aid of The Fire Fighters Charity. There was a great turnout for the event with entertainment provided by Watch Manager Eddie Parry on DJ duties, supported by a cast of numerous MFRS elves and Christmas characters. A group of hyper- excited children and adults were even visited by Blaze Bear, the official mascot of The Fire Fighters Charity! Everyone had a ball and here’s looking forward to next year!
