Building
On Fire
Firefighters were called out to a fire in a disused building in Vauxhall.
Merseyside Fire & Rescue Service attended Gascoyne Street at around 11.50am on October 30.
A large quantity of rubbish was involved in fire on the third floor of the property.
Two fire appliances from Liverpool City and Kensington community fire stations were called out. Firefighters were at the scene until just after 12.30pm.
LORRY FIRE
Firefighters were called out to a lorry fire in Speke.
Merseyside Fire & Rescue Service attended the incident in Speke Boulevard at around 3.20am on October 30.
The cab of the lorry was involved in fire. The lorry was on the carriageway when the fire broke out.
Two fire appliances from Speke and Garston Community Fire Station and Belle Vale Community Fire Station were called out. Firefighters were at the scene for just under an hour.

During September 2015, firefighters rescued eight people from Road Traffic Collisions and two people from Accidental Dwelling Fires.
Please note: The Whiston station area is now covered by Belle Vale, Huyton and Eccleston. However, the Whiston fire appliance is still operational.
