FOREWORD
Our recruit firefighters have completed their intensive training course and a special Passing Out Ceremony was held at the TDA. Well done to all the recruits. Please see pages 10 and 11 for more.
Our Service Football Team has also celebrated 10 years of community coaching this year. Please see page 5 for more details.
Firefighters and staff have been hard at work to keep people safe in the community. Thanks to a school visit, two young boys raised the alarm when a house fire broke out. See page 8.
Fire and Rescue Services from across the UK attended a conference hosted by our Service, to explore ways of promoting fire safety across ethnically diverse businesses. See pages 12 and 13.
Please keep sending in all you fantastic stories and photos so we can feature them in Hot News.
