FOREWORD
This bumper Summer edition of Hot News pulls together the many operational and community projects you have been involved in over the last few months.
We have had visits from some very special guests, played host to a live TV broadcast of Crimewatch Roadshow and even found time to bake some show-stopping sundries for charity.
Our Fire Cadets and Prince’s Trust Teams have had an incredibly busy few months, and some of their activities are showcased on pages 14 and 15.
The Protection Team has also achieved the successful prosecution of a shop owner who failed to take fire precautions to protect his workers. Read all about it on page 4.
As always, we love to hear your news, stories and achievements so feel free to send them to us as soon as possible for inclusion in our September edition.
