As you can see the BEACON Project is full of exciting and rewarding activities, each week is a new challenge to the Young People involved.

In addition to the above plan, there are occasions when we invite outside agencies or other departments inside the Fire Service to visit and give the Young People different Experiences.

Lisa Gill - Lisa comes from the Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation and gives an interesting and valuable insight into the costs, both to health and pocket alike and the effects of smoking cigarettes and tobacco on someone's life.

Terry Clarry - Terry rides the Fire Service Response Motorcycle and delivers a role play session involving with a chance to get up close and personal with his kitted out Honda Motorcycle!

Dean Bolton - Dean and his partner Floyd have an unusual way of 'sniffing' out Arsonists and the causes of Arson. A session you won't forget in a long time, one of the Young People's firm favourites!
