Fire crews have been called to a scrap yard fire on Crowland Close, Southport this evening.
Four fire engines are in attendance.
Crews were alerted at 7.13pm and on scene at 7.19pm.
Crews arrived to find scrap vehicles on fire across an area of 20 x 30 square metres and are fighting the fire with two hose reel jets and two main branch hoses.
The incident is ongoing, please avoid the area. Residents and businesses nearby should keep doors and windows closed.
