Fire involving back door of property in Litherland

Firefighters were called to a fire involving the back door of a property on Four Acre Drive in Litherland at 9.28pm on Friday, March 2.

Merseyside Fire & Rescue Service was called at 9.23pm and crews were alerted at 9.24pm. They were on scene at 9.28pm.

Two fire engines attended the incident and crews wearing breathing apparatus used a high pressure hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.

No-one was injured. The back door of the property and a window were damaged by fire.

A quantity of brick work and the ground floor of the property sustained smoke damage.

Firefighters remained at the incident for around one hour.
