If you would like to submit a request for information to Merseyside Fire and Rescue Authority, you can submit a verbal request as well as in writing.

You can also use this email address if you would like help in drafting your request for information or wish to discuss your request.
When the Authority receives your request and your request is not covered by an exception, the information will be forwarded to you within 20 working days.
However, if you submit a request for a large amount of information or it is a request where there are complexities in retrieving the information, we can extend the time to deal with the request from 20 working days to 40 working days. If this does occur Merseyside Fire and Rescue Authority will contact you within the 20 working days to inform you about this extension of time.
