It is important that the fit is right between you and the organisation, so you’ll enjoy the experience.

We therefore ask that you to complete an Expression of Interest form. Please send your completed Expression of Interest to youthengagementteam@merseyfire.gov.uk

It is important that you highlight what volunteering role in the Fire Cadets is suitable for you, depending on your needs and skills.

Recruitment is ongoing so there are no closing dates, although sometimes there may not be vacancies at the cadet unit where you would like to volunteer.  If this is the case, a waiting list will operate.

If you are suitable, the Volunteer Co-ordinator will contact you to discuss further. If you still wish to pursue, you will be invited to attend a medical and do a DBS check.

If both medical and DBS check is fine, you will be invited to attend a 1 day Induction, which you must attend before commencing your volunteer role.
