Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service (MFRS) attended an incident on Penny Lane, Haydock, on the evening of Saturday 14 February.
Crews were alerted at 19.25 and on scene at 19.29 with three fire engines attending.
This was in response to reports of a fire at a hotel. On arrival firefighters located the fire to a room situated on the first floor and extinguished the fire at 19.46.
A full evacuation and roll call took place, with all persons accounted for.
MFRS crews used mechanical ventilation and checked neighbouring rooms, which were confirmed to be clear.
Merseyside Police and North West Ambulance Service also attended as a precaution.
Fire Service personnel then carried out a full 360 of the premises, before occupants were able to re-enter the building. Crews left the scene at 20.22.
