Location: Lord Street, Southport
Merseyside Fire & Rescue Service attended a road traffic collision on Lord Street, Southport, on Thursday 22nd April.
Crews were alerted at 4.18pm and on scene at 4.21pm. One fire engine attended.
On arrival crews found there had been a collision involving a single decker bus and a car. The car was on its roof.
One person was still inside the car when crews arrived. Firefighters stabilised the vehicle and administered oxygen therapy before assisting the person from the vehicle. They were then assessed by paramedics at the scene but did not require hospital treatment. One other person has received precautionary checks at the scene.
Fire crews left the scene at 5.07pm.
