Location: Lightbody Street, Liverpool
Merseyside Fire & Rescue Service was called to Lightbody Street, Liverpool, on Sunday 25th April, following reports of a duckling trapped in a lock.
Crews were requested shortly before 12pm by the RSPCA. One fire engine attended.
On arrival, crews liaised with the RSPCA to formulate a plan and used a throw line and net to bring the duckling to safety.
The duckling was handed into the care of the RSPCA.
MFRS left the scene at 12.53pm.
