Location: Ravenswood Avenue, Rock Ferry, Wirral
Firefighters are in attendance at a former high school building in Ravenswood Avenue, Rock Ferry, Wirral.
Crews were alerted at 8.01pm and on scene at 8.08pm. Four fire engines and an aerial appliance are at the scene.
On arrival, crews found part of the two-storey listed brick and stone building well alight.
Firefighters are using main jets to tackle the fire.

Crews left the scene shortly after midnight.
An investigation is being carried out together with Merseyside Police.
