Location: Townsend Lane, Anfield
Firefighters attended a property on Townsend Lane in Anfield on Monday 29th June.
Crews were alerted at 11.02am and on scene at 11.07am. Three fire engines attended as well as a combined platform ladder.
On arrival crews found a fire in the roof space of the property. The property consists of a flat above a shop.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus tackled the fire externally using a hose reel jet. They then pitched a 13.5m ladder to the top floor to check for fire spread. The combined platform ladder was used to remove tiles from the dormer roof of the property to allow firefighters to extinguish any remaining hotspots.
All persons were accounted for.
Merseyside Police and North West Ambulance Service were also in attendance.
Firefighters left the scene at 12.35pm.
