Location: Curzon Place, Earlestown
Firefighters were called to a block of flats at Curzon Place, Earlestown, on Sunday 27th October.
Crews were alerted at 6.36pm and on scene at 6.39pm. Four fire engines attended as well as the aerial appliance.
A full evacuation of the building had taken place.
On arrival crews found a fire in the kitchen of a first floor flat.
Crews wearing breathing apparatus forced entry to the flat and used a high pressure hose reel to extinguish the fire.
Firefighters left the scene at 8.59pm.
