Location: Oldham Street, Liverpool City Centre
Firefighters are currently in attendance at a flat fire in a high rise building on Oldham Street, Liverpool City Centre.
Crews were alerted at 9.06am and on scene at 9.10am. Four fire engines are currently in attendance as well as a combined platform ladder.
On arrival crews found a fire in a flat on the third floor of the building.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus have entered the building. Crews have set up a bridge head and are feeding a hose reel jet from the dry riser.
The incident is ongoing.
UPDATE 10.30am
Firefighters remain at the scene. The combined platform ladder has now left. Firefighting operations have concluded.
One person has been assessed at the scene by paramedics from North West Ambulance Service.
