Location: Gerrards Lane, Halewood
Merseyside Fire & Rescue Service is currently in attendance on Gerrards Lane, Halewood.
Crews were alerted at 7.14pm and on scene at 7.20pm. Four fire engines and the combined platform ladder (CPL) were in attendance at the height of the fire.
The fire involves a detached property that is believed to be under construction.
Firefighters are fighting the fire externally due to the structural integrity of the building. The CPL is being used as a water tower.
The incident is ongoing but has been scaled down to two fire engines and the CPL.
An investigation into the cause of the fire will be carried out in due course.
