Location: Mariners Road, Blundellsands, Crosby
Firefighters were called to Crosby beach on Sunday, 7th March following reports of a number of fires being lit on the sand dunes.
Crews were alerted at 6.51pm and on scene at 6.56pm. One fire engine attended.
Crews extinguished the fires, which covered an area of approx 10x10m, using a high pressure hose reel jet, buckets of water and beaters.
The fires were brought under control at around 7.20pm.
Merseyside Police were also in attendance.
