Location: Harthill Road, Calderstones
Fire crews were called to a fire at an abandoned former youth club on Harthill Road, Calderstones Park, Liverpool on Wednesday, 14th April.
Crews were alerted at 8.33pm and on scene at 8.41pm.
Five fire engines attended.
Crews arrived to find a single-storey building approx. 60 x 20m well alight. Firefighters, wearing breathing apparatus, used a high pressure hose reel and a main branch hose to fight the fire.
After the main body of the fire was extinguished, damping down and hotspot checking took place.
There are not believed to be any casualties.
An investigation into the cause of the fire is being undertaken together with Merseyside Police.
Crews left the scene at 12.40am on Thursday, 15th April.
