Location: Soho Street, Liverpool
Merseyside Fire & Rescue Service is currently in attendance at a fire in a garage on Soho Street, Liverpool L3.
Crews were alerted at 8.18am and on scene at 8.21am. Five fire engines are in attendance as well as an aerial appliance.
On arrival crews found a fire in a garage approximately 30m x 40m. The garage was well alight.
Firefighters have gained entry to the premises and are fighting the fire using two main branches and a hose reel jet.
The incident is ongoing.
Please avoid the area.
UPDATE 9.33AM
The fire has now been extinguished and firefighters are carrying out damping down and hot spotting operations.
The aerial appliance has been released from the scene, with the incident expected to be scaled down shortly to three fire engines.
