Fire crews have been called to a large grass fire at Altcross Meadows, Stonecross Lane, (next to East Lancs Rd) Liverpool, this afternoon.
Crews were on scene at 4.02pm with four fire engines in attendance. Crews arrived to find a large grass fire around 200 metres by 200 metres in size, and are using beaters and hose reel jets to fight the fire.
By 4.42pm the main body of fire was extinguished.
