Location: Weymouth Avenue, St Helens
Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service attended an incident on Weymouth Avenue, St Helens, on the evening of Tuesday 1st April.
Crews were alerted at 19.45 and on scene at 19.53, with three fire engines attending.
On arrival this was a section of heath land involved in fire, measuring approximately 80 metres by 40 metres.
Crews used one hose reel jet, pac lider, and beaters, to bring the fire under control before hotspotting.
At 20.47, the fire was extinguished, the incident was then scaled down and crews left the scene at 20.54.
