Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service (MFRS) attended an incident on Albert Road, Formby, on the evening of 23 July.
Crews were alerted at 17.26 and on scene shortly after. On arrival crews found a large grass fire measuring approximately 50 metres by 50 metres. Three fire engines attended alongside a support vehicle.
Multiple seats of fire were extinguished using a variety of hoses and beaters. All fires were extinguished by 18.30 and crews left the scene at 18.44.
