Location: Liverpool City Centre
Crews have been called to a fire on the 11th floor of a high rise building on Skelhorne St. In Liverpool city centre.
Crews were alerted just after midnight 00.01am and were on scene by 00.04 am
4 fire engines and a Combined Platform ladder were in attendance.
Firefighters investigated the 11th floor wearing breathing apparatus and used a main branch hose to extinguish a fire in a flat. The sprinkler system also activated and the fire has been extinguished.
The building is now being ventilated and firefighters are checking adjoining flats and flats above and below the fire for any fire spread.
There are no reports of any casualties.
