Location: Millersdale, Clock Face
Merseyside Fire & Rescue is in attendance at a house fire on Millersdale, Clock Face.
Crews were alerted at 00.42 and on scene at 00.48. Six fire engines and the search and rescue appliance are in attendance.
On arrival, crews found a mid-terraced property well alight. Firefighters were commited under rapid deployment to prevent escalation of the fire.
The incident has been sectorised, with crews fighting the fire externally with a high pressure hose reel jet in sector one and four firefighters wearing breathing apparatus using high pressure hose reel jets in sector two. Properties either side of the house are also being checked for fire spread.
All persons are accounted for.
UPDATE 7am
Following a multi-agency meeting, gas supply has been isolated to the property.
Breathing apparatus is no longer in use and crews are damping down.
