House fire in Croxteth

Fire crews were called to an incident at a house in Moss Way, Croxteth, on Tuesday, 12th May.

Crews were alerted at 7.22pm and on scene at 7.28pm. Three fire engines attended.

Crews arrived to find a small fire in the bedroom of a property.

Firefighters extinguished the fire with a high pressure hose reel jet and then ventilated the property.

The fire is believed to have started accidentally, involving an electric charger.

There were no serious injuries in the incident, though three people were checked at the scene by NWAS. One was taken to hospital for further treatment.

A bedroom sustained smoke damage and some contents were damaged by fire.

Firefighters left the scene at 8.03pm.
