Location: Balmoral Drive, Southport
Firefighters were called to a property on Balmoral Drive, Southport, on Sunday 8th November.
Crews were alerted at 4.36pm and on scene at 4.41pm. Two fire engines attended.
On arrival crews found a fire in the kitchen of the property.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.
The occupant of the property was already outside when crews arrived. They were assessed at the scene by paramedics from North West Ambulance Service but did not require hospital treatment.
Firefighters ventilated the property using a positive pressure fan.
Crews left the scene at 5.32pm.
