Location: Preesall Close, Southport
Firefighters attended a kitchen fire at a property in Preesall Close, Southport, on Sunday 8th September.
Crews were alerted at 6.13pm and on scene at 6.19pm. Two fire engines attended.
On arrival crews found a fire in the kitchen of the property. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus entered the property and used a CO2 extinguisher and hose reel to extinguish the fire.
Crews used a positive pressure fan to ventilate the property, before removing the kitchen units to check for hot spots.
Firefighters left the scene at 7.10pm
