Location: Portman Road, Wavertree
Firefighters attended an incident at a property on Portman Road, Wavertree, on Sunday 13th September.
Crews were alerted at 9.11pm and on scene at 9.18pm. Three fire engines attended.
On arrival crews found a fire in the kitchen of the property.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus entered the property and used a high pressure hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.
One person was led out of the property by firefighters. Crews administered oxy therapy before handing the person over into the care of North West Ambulance Service. The person was then taken to hospital for precautionary checks.
Crews carried out a home fire safety check before leaving the scene at 10.10pm.
