Location: Childwall Road, Church Road, Wavertree
Merseyside Fire & Rescue Service attended a road traffic collision in Wavertree on Monday 29th March.
Crews were alerted at 8.25pm and on scene at 8.31pm. Two fire engines and the search and rescue appliance attended.
On arrival crews found two vehicles had been in collision at the junction of Childwall Road and Church Road, close to Picton Clock Tower.
Both vehicles were on all four wheels when crews arrived, however one person was trapped inside one of the vehicles.
Firefighters removed the roof of the vehicle to release the person. They were assessed at the scene by North West Ambulance Service. They were taken to hospital for further assessment. One other person was taken to hospital for precautionary checks.
Crews left the scene at 10.02pm.
