Location: Liverpool Road, Huyton
Firefighters attended a road traffic collision on Liverpool Road, Huyton, on Tuesday 18th August.
Crews were alerted at 11.57am and on scene at 12.02pm. Two fire engines attended as well as the search and rescue appliance.
On arrival crews found one vehicle that had left the road and was on its side. One person was inside the vehicle when crews arrived.
Firefighters removed the windscreen and assisted the person out of the vehicle. They were then handed into the care of North West Ambulance Service and taken to hospital for further assessment.
Fire crews left the scene at 12.47pm.
