Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service (MFRS) attended an incident on Longmoor Lane, Fazakerley, on the afternoon of Tuesday 11 November.
Crews were alerted at 14.15 and on scene at 14.21. Two fire engines and the search and rescue team attended.
On arrival, firefighters pitched a triple extension ladder to rescue a person who had fallen down an embankment. The individual was assisted up the ladder by Fire Service personnel and placed in the care of Merseyside Police.
MFRS left the scene at 14.36.
