Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service (MFRS) attended an incident between junction 3 Woodchurch and junction 4 Clatterbridge on the M53 Northbound carriageway, on the morning of Sunday 23 November.
Crews were alerted at 10.06 and on scene at 10.17 with two fire engines attending.
On arrival, this was a one vehicle road traffic collision (RTC). The affected vehicle was straddling the hard shoulder barrier on two wheels.
Two occupants were out of the vehicle prior to Fire Service attendance and were assessed at scene by North West Ambulance Service (NWAS).
Merseyside Police closed the northbound carriageway while Fire Service personnel made the scene safe.
NWAS Paramedics then conveyed the occupants of the vehicle to hospital.
MFRS crews made up their equipment and handed over to Merseyside Police, before leaving the scene at 10.35.
