Location: Old Chester Road, Tranmere
Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service attended an incident on Old Chester Road, Tranmere, on the afternoon of Friday 4th April.
Crews were alerted at 14.48 and on scene at 14.52 with two fire engines and the search and rescue team attending.
On arrival this was one double decker bus wedged under a low bridge.
Two casualties were conveyed into the care of North West Ambulance Service Paramedics and treated at scene.
A representative from Network Rail and a Structural Engineer were requested.
Fire crews left the scene at 16.09.
