Location: Pensby
Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service attended an incident on the junction of Ridgemere Road and Ridgemere Drive, Pensby, on the morning of Monday 17th March.
Crews were alerted at 10.59 and on scene at 11.05, with two fire engines attending.
On arrival this was a road traffic collision (RTC) involving a single decker bus and a car. No persons trapped.
One bus passenger and the driver of the car were assessed by North West Ambulance Service Paramedics at scene.
Crews handed over the incident to Merseyside Police, who organised vehicle recovery.
Vehicle recovery arrived shortly after and upon recovery of the car, a one metre garden wall collapsed onto the pavement. Police informed the council of the obstruction and hazard.
Fire Service personnel cordoned off the area and left the scene at 12.50.
