Location: St Domingo Grove, Liverpool
Fire crews have been called to a serious flat fire in Liberton Court, St Domingo Grove, Liverpool this evening.
Crews were alerted at 5.36pm and on scene at 5.41pm. Three fire engines are in attendance.
On arrival, crews found a fire in a first floor flat. Four firefighters wearing breathing apparatus were committed to the fire, with one hose reel jet in use.
Due to heavy smoke logging in all communal areas, an evacuation of other flats is also taking place with crews also checking for fire spread.
Merseyside Police and North West Ambulance Service are also in attendance.
UPDATE 9.30pm
Residents have been allowed back into flats and MFRS crews left the scene at 8.04pm.
