Location: Hoylake Road, Moreton, Wirral
Firefighters attended a one-vehicle collision on Hoylake Road in Moreton on Tuesday, 17th March.
Crews were alerted at 4.55am and on scene at 5.00am. Two fire engines attended as well as the search and rescue appliance.
On arrival, crews found a car on its side.
Two people were medically and physically trapped in the car.
Firefighters used hydraulic cutting equipment to carry out a roof removal on the vehicle, allowing the casualties to be removed using a longboard and scoop.
The people were then handed into the care of North West Ambulance Service and taken to hospital for further checks.
Crews left the scene at 6.09am.
