This course is suitable for supervisors, managers and safety representatives and provides a broad understanding of health and safety issues, equipping learners to contribute more effective management of workplace risk.
The award comprises of two modules:
Unit FSC1 FSC2 Fire Safety
- Managing fire safety
- Principles of fire and explosion
- Causes and prevention of fire
- Fire protection in buildings
- Safety of people in the event of a fire
Unit FSC2 Risk Management
- Fire risk assessment
The Fire Safety and Risk Management course may be completed as an additional unit to the NEBOSH National General Certificate and candidates will be given accreditation.of prior learning for unit NG1/2 to achieve the Certificate in Fire Safety & Risk Management.
This recognised and respected qualification covers fire causes, fire prevention and
protection, by the time you sit the exam you will have successfully completed a fire risk assessment and thereby be better able to meet the legal requirements of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order.
